DeAnna Howlett, Executive Director: serving a 5-year term started in May 2023.
DeAnna has been working in the addictions and recovery space ever since 2017. De Anna has run both the men’s and women’s residences, and held positions with Virtue recovery centers, Vogue recovery, Crossroads Recovery of Southern Nevada, and is currently employed by The Nestled Recovery Center.
DeAnna is well versed in the day-to-day operations for a sober living residence. She is compassionate and works with many community partners in Las Vegas.
Denis Winslow's work and dedication is deeply embedded in the ethos of Aid to Addicts and Alcoholics in Recovery. Both Myrna (before her passing) and Denis were integral to the organization from its inception, dedicating countless hours to ensure the success of the sober living houses and the well-being of their residents. Today, the organization along with Denis Winslow continues to honor Myrna’s legacy by maintaining its commitment to providing supportive sober living environments, helping individuals in recovery, and staying involved in the broader recovery community, including NA.
The vision and legacy of Denis and Myrna Winslow live on through Aid to Addicts and Alcoholics, and her husband Denis, who is a director with the organization and offers a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to the current board and inspires future leaders by continuing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those battling addiction.
Paul has been a Certified licensed electrician and Union foreman for over 25 years and has been sober for 29 years with his 30th anniversary in December 2024.
Paul ran a sober living residence out of his home in California for 20 years. He developed an excellent working relationship with the department of corrections in California, housing recently released parolees so that they could have a safe sober living environment that was non judgemental and safe, to help with their reintegration into the community.
He has been involved with the AAAIR since its inception and has been involved in the day-to-day operations, finance, and maintenance of all the residences.
His leadership provides a shining example of hard work, dedication, and commitment to all the people involved with the AAAIR, NA, and the sober living community here in Las Vegas.
